Ballet Class Recap and General Updates

Since I haven’t posted since last week, I fee like I kind of fell off the face of the earth with this blog–even if it really hasn’t been that long.

I spent most of my weekend (starting on Wednesday, since I worked three days in a row last week) with my family and struggled to get even my homework done for the Coursera Python course HQ and I are taking. I also got in a few runs while at home since there is a nice running trail there. My legs seem to be doing super well, and I’m currently looking for a cheap-ish 5k in May/June to run.

Finally I made it to Monday night ballet class again (after a week and a half off from dance). The class is pretty late at night, so I usually have a  tough time getting myself there (especially if I’ve been working at home all day). I was glad I did though–it was good to have a relaxed class. I regret doing my calf exercises before class started though since we did about 100 releves during one exercise.

I’m going to try to get a couple more posts up this week despite being pretty busy. I can promise you there will definitely be a profile up on Friday! I’m not sure otherwise though, because I have to make sure I get all the programming stuff done before this weekend.  Saturday is Bar Camp News Innovation unconference here in Philly (as well as Content Camp). I’m hoping I’ll be able to share what I learn from that with my fellow blogger and writers.

Then, on Sunday, I’ll be TA-ing my first Girl Develop It Class–which I’m looking forward to as well! It’ll cover HTML and CSS basics and I’m pretty excited.

I have a lot of awesome content coming up for ABP on the radar–hopefully I’ll have time to share it on here soon!

Share what you’ve been up to lately ballet-wise–or otherwise–in the comments!
